Image analysis

Image is a complex object resulting from a collection of elementary shapes. On this basis, interpretation of image consists in:

• decomposing images in regions and shapes (multi-level)
• representation of images by graphs
• comparison and tracking of series of images by using inexact graph matching
• shape recognition by multi-level constraint satisfaction
• Using evolutionary algorithms to find the best match between images
