Florent Colin

Florent Colin (PhD) is a Post-Doc in the Pr. Jean-Louis Mandel team and is especially in charge of the management of this project. He has defended his PhD in late 2013 on the functional characterization of Frataxin, the protein involved in the Friedreich Ataxia rare disease (a neurodegenerative disorder). He has realized his studies both in the Institut de Génétique et de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IGBMC - Illkirch) and the Centre des Energies Atomique et Alternative (CEA - Grenoble) and has a expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry. He has also participated in the development of the PredISC software (unpublished) in collaboration with the Bioinformatics Platform of Strasbourg.
